septic system repair & replacement

RCI Septic Service is licensed with the State of New Hampshire, Department of Environmental Services, Subsurface Bureau.  We can repair or replace a damaged system.  Well maintained septic systems generally will last a very long time (20+ years).  Most systems that present problems or fail are due to improper maintenance.  Problems such as pipe blockages can occur if inappropriate objects are flushed through the septic system, tree roots grow into the pipe, or pipes are corroded or crushed.  Other more serious problems occur if the septic tank deteriorates or has other structural problems.  The most serious problem are the result of a clogged leachfield.  Once the absorption field is clogged, it must be replaced.  Replacement septic systems must be approved by the State of NH DES.
